Logs and diagnostics
Find relevant events, distinguish log sources and export only the evidence you intend to share.

Choose the log source
Open Logs for application-wide events. A connection’s details also has its own log. Under Proxy, use the logs for routing and DNS events. These views are not the same as Xcode’s system console; an operating-system warning does not by itself prove that a tunnel failed.
Filter and inspect
Search by connection or target, then narrow the category and level. Select an entry for its details. Show Flow, when available, searches for the related flow identifier; it does not open a live connection. Auto-scroll and Wrap lines change presentation only. No matching entries means the current filter found nothing, not that the operation succeeded.
Copy, save and clear
Copy Selected Log copies one entry. Save Logs… saves the displayed entries as text. In the global Logs page, Copy All Logs uses recent global entries and Export Logs… exports the stored JSONL log, so the current search is not an export boundary. The proxy/DNS view exports its displayed snapshot. Show Log in Finder reveals the stored log. Global Clear Logs clears the shared log; clearing the proxy/DNS view hides entries already shown there. Preserve needed evidence before clearing.
Create a rule or diagnose configuration
Create Rule from Log… is available only when the entry contains a usable application, target host and port. Review the proposed rule and save it deliberately. Network Diagnostics, under Proxy → Rules → Actions, previews configuration without sending test traffic; it does not prove DNS resolution or connectivity. Before sharing any copied/exported log or report, inspect and redact credentials, addresses, usernames and paths.
